Pakistan

Undiscovered paradise...

Pakistan is a busy, bustling country of 220 million people..

Stretching from the coastlines of the Arabian Sea in the South to the snow clad, mighty peaks of the Himalayas, the Hindukush and Karakoram mountain ranges in the North; from the laid back, sleepy and primitive villages in the plains and valleys, to the multicultural, cosmopolitan cities, Pakistan offers everything what any traveller would seek.

The 1960's and 70's saw millions of tourists thronging the length and breadth of Pakistan. They enjoyed the deep rooted, cultural hospitality of the people as well as lived the luxury of affordable expenditure during their stay, because of lower value of pakistan rupee versus US Dollar.

From the late 70's till the end of the century, the country was in the midst of its existential crisis due to the war in our neighbourhood amongst the two superpowers. Millions of refugees were welcomed with open arms by the pakistanis but the war in the neighbourhood and the resultant chaos, over flowed into Pakistan and wrecked havoc with the society.

Pakistan is recovering, healing, rebuilding. ..

The wounds are deep but the will of the people is an equal match. We are recovering and reclaiming the peace, prosperity and happiness that once breezed this land.

Please come and visit our beautiful land. Come and meet our brothers and sisters and see for yourself that all you may have heard about the land and the people is truly and astonishingly refreshing and amazingly peaceful.

“Destroy the mosque,

Destroy the temple,

Destroy whatever you please...

Do not break the human hearts,

For God dwells in these”

Baba Bulleh Shah - 17th century Sufi poet

A land of harmony and peace. Where followers of various religious beliefs live and work in peace and with honour.

Pakistan is a pre dominanatly Muslim country. Islam reached here, through the efforts of sufi saints who had travelled here, mostly through central Asia.

A tolerant religion which enabled this land to be peacefully co-inhabited by followers of many faiths and practices.
